These stories are characterized by unbelievable feats, strong heroes, and settings often related to the frontier or the American West. This cross curriculum class will help students identify key symbolism in language arts, practice creative writing assignments, encourage reading comprehension in a unique way, and spark imagination.

Science you can eat! Lots of fun ideas for kids to learn about food science from the kitchen while learning science. Examples: Oreo Moon Phases, Twizzler DNA Helix, Cell Cake, Oreo Pudding Soil Layer Cup, etc. Students will be presented a short science lesson, and then the group will work together on the Zoom to create the day's lab.
